Data Set 1
As we all know, there are a lot of people in the world who would love to be UX designers. (Who wouldn’t? It’s a great job that is constantly changing and challenging!) Every field presents different challenges for first-time job seekers. The medical field requires years of schooling and training. Financial fields usually require examinations and licensing.

One of the challenges for aspiring UX designers is the chicken-and-egg problem of the portfolio: The easiest way to get a job is to build a portfolio, and the easiest way to build a portfolio is to get a job. Creating a hiring-ready portfolio based on self-started projects is possible but very difficult and can add another six months to the hiring process.

A second challenge for aspiring UX designers is to connect with those who are already working in the field. Connections like this are a great way to get career advice, portfolio critique and connections to job openings. Because there are fewer people in UX than in fields such as engineering, marketing and finance, connections can be harder to find. But new UX designers who do connect have a much shorter job search and better average starting salary than those who do not.

A third challenge is that many aspiring UX designers are already working in demanding fields such as software development and visual design, so it can be difficult to find the time to learn new skills, connect with people and interview.

Stories Based On The Grid
Story 1
As an aspiring UX designer is facing challenges in building a hiring-ready portfolio, leading to prolonged portfolio development due to self-started projects. This situation results in difficulty in job search and securing a job. To address this, the aspiring designer should focus on building a high-quality portfolio using real-time data. This can be achieved through freelancing and public projects, involving themselves in real-world scenarios.
Story 2
As an aspiring UX designer one key challenge is limited connections with other UX designers. These connections are valuable as they provide valuable career advice, portfolio critique, job referrals, and even the potential for long-lasting professional friendships. It is suggested to attend design meetups, workshops, and use platforms like LinkedIn for outreach. Actively connecting with fellow designers can significantly expand networking opportunities.
Story 3
As an aspiring UX designer another aspect to consider is the need to acquire new skills while managing time effectively. This involves better time management to balance skill acquisition, networking, and portfolio development, while also making new connections. Utilizing reminders, tracking progress, and seeking positive feedback can enhance this process. Employing reminders for learning, engaging in micro learning, and maintaining consistency are effective strategies. Additionally, personalized user-based reminders and rapid training can aid in skill acquisition

Data Set 2
In total, 65% of the corporate customers who use the calendar software called “DateIt” have moved to a completely flexible workforce. This means employees may be onsite or offsite at any time. This provides a great deal of flexibility when people have unexpected life events or have to travel a long distance to the office. But when someone needs to schedule a critical meeting that requires face-to-face interaction, it can be a challenge. If they attempt to schedule a meeting for a particular day using the current version of the DateIt calendar software, they can see the availability of all the invitees on that day, but there is no way to see who will be onsite or remote. There is also no way to tell which days invitees — or anyone else — are most likely to be in the office. Currently, customers who want to schedule an onsite meeting must contact invitees outside of the software to confirm their location, which takes approximately 20 extra minutes per meeting. And the inevitable mistakes in the process mean that an average of 2 meetings per month are cancelled because of scheduling mistakes.

Story Based On The Grid
Corporate customers often face challenges when trying to arrange face-to-face meetings. They might be unable to determine the availability of employees, whether they are onsite or offsite. This situation can lead to wasted time and even meeting cancellations. One proposed solution is the incorporation of a feature that provides information about employee site availability in DateIt. This would enable users to easily determine the availability status of employees and decide whether a face-to-face meeting is feasible. By offering real-time updates on employee site status, "DateIt" can streamline the process of arranging meetings.
